  • I have one of those laptops and I love it in spite of all the Dell-haters out there.

  • I manage over 150 Dell computers at work, and I love them all. I rarely had any problems with the Dell Optiplex line of desktops, and the Latitude line of laptop are equally durable.

    Nothing to say about them.

  • The only issues i had on the Optiplex GX270 was that they were suseptable to "Thermal Events" due to faulty popping capasitors..

Other than that... the new GX620s, M70's, M90 Precision and my own personal D810 rocks.. i really like them..

  • We use Dells almost exclusively. Between the various labs we support, and the school's faculty and staff, we manage several hundred of the buggers.

We've had some pretty annoying power supply problems with GX270s (not the latest model, thankfully), but other than that, they seem to be pretty decent machines.

Much better than when my family bought Dell boxes 6ish years ago.
