A Cheap Way to Remove Scratches from your iPod

If the surface of your precious iDonkey iPod is marred by a bunch of ugly scratches, you'll be happy to know that the Tension blog has a post documenting a solution that should help you restore your good old Apple MP3 player back to its original, shiny and polished, state.

Yesterday, while not secure in its Otterbox, I accidentally yanked my iPod off my desk. The naked iPod fell on the floor and a pile of CD cases landed on top of it -- scratching the iPod's face and screen in a few places.

  • I guess the provided solution would also work on other similar plastic surfaces, such as on a Nintendo DS or PSP.. (Don't try this on the tactile screen!)
