Microsoft iPod Killer?

Yes, it seems that the rumors are true folks; our friends at Microsoft have been silently working on a secret weapon to unhorse Apple dominance on the media player market. The news even came as a surprise to Robert Scoble, former MS employee and blogger superstar, so Redmond's been keeping this project pretty low profile, even from its own people. One of the things that gets me pretty excited about this multimedia device is that it is supposed to feature something that all other media players lack: some WiFi connectivity.

Microsoft's "iPod Killer" is expected to be released for the next holiday season, so if anyone wants to send me a gift next Christmas, you all know what I want now!
