Electric Car - The Movie?
If you are anything like me, you sit there at the gas pump every week wondering why someone hasn't come up with a better option. Fortunately, there has been a big push in the hybrid cars. However, we are still very reliant on gas, even with the hybrids starting to be used more.
So, what ever happened to developing a car that has no reliance on gas? With the major car companies having so much at stake as to who could develop a viable option first? What about the government sponsoring projects to figure this thing out? If they can make a cell phone the size of a wafer that goes for days on one charge, why can't those advances in technology help here?
It seems that there is a movie coming out this summer (June 28) that might try to answer some of those questions. I'm sure it'll take forever to get to where I live (If it ever does), but I'll be snagging it as soon as it comes out on DVD. Sadly, I'm sure alot of their answers are going to come back to who has the most money at stake to stunt this market.
