Why Phishing Works

Scott Granneman from SecurityFocus.com just pubbed this excellent article analyzing a recent study named "Why phishing works" written by a bunch of Harvard and UC Berkeley researchers. Scott takes the study apart and present it to us point by point. An extremely interesting read (Like everything that comes out of Mr. Granneman's head). If you're curious about my opinion on what can be done to prevent people from falling prey to phishing attacks, you can read my comment at the end of the article.

Answer me this truthfully: do you really trust Aunt Sally or Steve in Accounting or your kid sister Brooke to carefully read an anti-phishing warning, ponder the ramifications, and then make a wise choice? If you answer in the affirmative, then you haven't read Why Phishing Works.
